Can I add new layers to a template?

Yes.

1. Click on the File > Open command.
2. In the Open dialog box, navigate to the ...\Pro Contractor Studio 1\Templates folder. The default location on a 64-bit operating system is C:\Program Files (x86)\Software Republic\Pro Contractor Studio 1\Templates.
3. Select a template file from the list and click on the Open button.
4. Once the drawing is open on your screen, select View > Zoom to Paper. This will make the paper fill the screen from top to bottom.
5. Using the Layer Manager, add any additional layers you may need on all of your drawings.
6. Click on the File > Save As command. Navigate back to the ...\Pro Contractor Studio 1\Templates folder and overwrite the template file you selected in step 3.

The next time you open this template file from the Startup Screen it will fill the screen from top to bottom and include any additional layers you added.
