How do I purchase an activation key?

Below are the steps required to register your computer's Machine ID number and purchase an activation key.

1. If Pro Contractor Studio is not already installed on your computer, install the software from our website at https://www.softwarerepublic.com/pcs/download.aspx.
2. Start the Pro Contractor Studio software by clicking on the desktop icon.
3. If the PCS Subscription box does not open, click on the Help > Subscription command.
4. In the PCS Subscription dialog box you will see a Machine ID number. Write down or select and copy the number. Be sure not to leave out or transpose any numbers. The activation key will not work if the wrong Machine ID number is used in its creation.
5. Log into your PCS Account Management page on our website at https://www.softwarerepublic.com/pcs/account_login.aspx.
6. Click on the Register a New Machine ID button.
7. Enter the Machine ID number exactly as it appeared in the PCS Subscription box and give the ID a description such as "Office Desktop" or "Personal Laptop".
8. Click on the Register New Machine button to register the Machine ID number under your account.
9. Follow the links back to the main account management page.
10. Click on the Purchase Subscription button to the left of the Machine ID number and complete the order information to purchase a new activation key.
11. Your receipt and instructions for entering the activation key will appear once the order is processed.
