I receive an ExportModeller.dll error during the installation.
If you receive the following error during the installation process:
Error 1904.Module C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Business Objects\2.7\bin\ExportModeller.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147010895.
- First make sure you are logged onto the computer as the system administrator.
- If you are running Windows Vista or 7, start the installation program by right mouse clicking on the installation file and choosing Run as administrator from the resulting popup menu.
If this does not solve the problem, download and install the file below that matches your 32-bit or 64-bit operating system.
32-bit - http://www.softwarerepublic.com/updates/CRRedist2005_X86.msi
64-bit - http://www.softwarerepublic.com/updates/CRRedist2005_X64.msi
If you still receive the error message during the installation, you are missing a prerequisite component needed to install the software.
Go to the Microsoft website to download and install the following component.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=200b2fd9-ae1a-4a14-984d-389c36f85647
After the component is installed, restart your computer.
Reinstall the Pro Contractor Studio software and you should be up and running.
