When placing a sleeve symbol I receive, “Hatch Error: Ambiguous output”.

The error message indicates that AutoCAD is unable to draw the hatch pattern inside of the sleeve symbol for some reason. Most likely it is the scale setting. Adjust the scale setting and try the command again. For example, change the scale factor from 1.5 to 0.15 or vice versus.
