When I start the RainCAD 10.0 program I receive, “Error initializing DesignCAD: 0-“.

This message normally appears when you are using Windows Vista or 7 as the operating system.

1. Start the DesignCAD program by right mouse clicking on the desktop icon and choosing Run as administrator from the resulting popup menu.
2. Minimize the DesignCAD program into the Windows Taskbar.
3. Start the RainCAD program by right mouse clicking on the desktop icon and choosing Run as administrator from the resulting popup menu.

The two programs should connect. If you continue to have a problem, please submit a ticket to the online helpdesk system.
