I cannot get the dashes in the mainline to appear correctly.

In addition to adjusting the Line Type Scale for Mainline setting on the Pipe tab in the RainCAD > Options/Info > Irrigation Preferences command, adjust the setting for the linetype using the AutoCAD > Format > Linetype command. Click on the Show Details button and adjust the Global scale factor setting as necessary.
