Pipe sizing and hydraulic calculations do not recognize my pipe.

Make sure you draw the pipe by using the Irrigation > Pipe command and by clicking on the Draw Pipe button. The program adds information to the pipe during the drafting process. If you just draw lines on a pipe layer, they will just be lines on the drawing and the program will not recognize them as pipe. To determine if a line is an actual piece of pipe, select the line by clicking on it one time with the left mouse button. Click on the View > Properties command. In the Selected Entity Properties box, there should be a Pipe header near the top of the box with Category and Pipe Size drop down menus just below the header. If the line is just a line on the drawing, the header will read Line and the first selection in the properties box will be the layer assignment drop down menu.
