When I try to update I receive, "Unable to install patch".
Most likely something has downloaded or unpacked incorrectly. You can manually update the software by following these directions:
- Close Pro Contractor Studio on your computer.
- Download the PCSPatch_8_1_0_6.zip ZIP file into the patch folder on your computer. The default location is C:\Program Files\Software Republic\Pro Contractor Studio\patch.
- Right mouse click on the file name and choose Extract or Extract All to unzip the contents of the file.
- Extract the contents to the Pro Contractor Studio folder on your computer. The default location is C:\Program Files\Software Republic\Pro Contractor Studio.
- Answer Yes to overwrite the files.
