I deleted symbols from the drawing and when I place new ones, they do not show the correct symbol assignment.
Symbols are loaded in a drawing as blocks. When you delete symbols from a drawing, the blocks are still a part of the drawing. You need to purge the old blocks from the drawing before the new symbol assignment can be displayed. - Type Purge in the Command Line and press Enter.
- A the Purge: baTch/All/Blocks/Dimstyles/LAyers/LTypes/STyles:prompt, type B for blocks and press Enter.
- At the Enter name(s) to purge <*>: prompt, type an asterisk * and press Enter.
- At the Purge block TextStyles? (Yes/No/yes to All)? : press Enter.
- The next prompt will show the name of a block. It will be something similar to this Purge block TMPSPRREF-180-8-0? (Yes/No/yes to All)? :. Press A for All and press Enter.
You should now be able to place the symbol with the new assignment.
