How can I create a PDF file?

You will need a device driver to "print" to a PDF format. You will need a program such as Adobe Acrobat Distiller or a shareware program such as pdf995 or cutePDF. You can find pdf995 on their web site at http://www.pdf995.com/ and cutePDF on their site at www.cutepdf.com. Install the driver on your computer and it will appear as a printer during the printing process. Open your drawing and start the Print command from the DesignCAD File menu. In the Printer drop down menu, select the PDF printer driver of your choice. Click on the Setup button to select the correct paper size, orientation and any other necessary settings. Set the Scale for the drawing on the Area tab and complete the printing process as usual. You will be asked to give the drawing a name after clicking on the Print button.
