I receive a message, ERROR WRITING TO AUTOCAD REGISTRY.
ERROR WRITING TO AUTOCAD REGISTRY: Conversion from string "16,0" to type 'Single' is not valid.
The problem occurs because the Decimal Symbol in Windows is set to a comma (,) instead of a period (.).
In Windows XP:- Open the Control Panel and click on Regional and Language Options.
- On the Regional Options tab, click on Customize button.
- Set the Decimal symbol to a period and click on the OK button.
- Click on the OK button again to exit the dialog box.
- Reinstall the software.
In Windows Vista:- Open the Control Panel and click on Clock, Language, and Region.
- Click on Regional and Language Options.
- On the Formats tab, click on the Customize this format… button.
- Set the Decimal symbol to a period and click on the OK button.
- Click on the OK button again to exit the dialog box.
- Reinstall the software.
In Windows 7:- Open the Control Panel and click on Clock, Language, and Region.
- Click on Regional and Language.
- On the Formats tab, click on the Additional Settings… button.
- Set the Decimal symbol to a period and click on the OK button.
- Click on the OK button again to exit the dialog box.
- Reinstall the software.
