I receive a message, ERROR WRITING TO AUTOCAD REGISTRY.

ERROR WRITING TO AUTOCAD REGISTRY: Conversion from string "16,0" to type 'Single' is not valid. The problem occurs because the Decimal Symbol in Windows is set to a comma (,) instead of a period (.). In Windows XP:

  1. Open the Control Panel and click on Regional and Language Options.
  2. On the Regional Options tab, click on Customize button.
  3. Set the Decimal symbol to a period and click on the OK button.
  4. Click on the OK button again to exit the dialog box.
  5. Reinstall the software.
In Windows Vista:
  1. Open the Control Panel and click on Clock, Language, and Region.
  2. Click on Regional and Language Options.
  3. On the Formats tab, click on the Customize this format… button.
  4. Set the Decimal symbol to a period and click on the OK button.
  5. Click on the OK button again to exit the dialog box.
  6. Reinstall the software.
In Windows 7:
  1. Open the Control Panel and click on Clock, Language, and Region.
  2. Click on Regional and Language.
  3. On the Formats tab, click on the Additional Settings… button.
  4. Set the Decimal symbol to a period and click on the OK button.
  5. Click on the OK button again to exit the dialog box.
  6. Reinstall the software.
