DesignCAD Edition - Version 8

×

I print the drawing with the DesignCAD Print as Black and White option turned on, but some of the lighter colors still print very gray. They are so light that they are difficult to see on the print out.

The problem might have to do with the line width of the objects. If the line width for the objects or entities is set to zero (0), the lines may become difficult to see or may not print as complete lines.

One solution is to adjust the Pen Width setting in the DesignCAD Print command on the Type tab. The Pen Width option is used to increase the print width of the lines in a drawing. This command alleviates some problems with printing zero width lines. Do not confuse the Pen Width option with the Line Width option available in 2-D mode. Pen Width is meant to change the width of all printed lines on the drawing. Line Width affects specific lines in a drawing.
