I cannot select a symbol on the screen.

Symbols such as sprinklers contain multiple parts that are grouped together into one entity. Sprinkler symbols include an arc pattern, the symbol for the sprinkler and the attribute number that indicates the water source and zone assignment. If any one of the layers containing these entities are locked or set to invisible, you cannot select the remaining portions of the group.

To select a symbol:

1. Click on the Layer command from the Options menu in DesignCAD.
2. Unlock the layers on which the entities for the symbol are drawn.
