Zoom and Pan

You can change the view of the design by zooming in and out.  You can zoom in or out by rolling the Scroll button on the mouse or by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing the Plus (+) or Minus (-) keys on the keyboard.  Zooming in or out does not change the actual size of entities on the drawing screen, it simply changes the magnification level making entities appear larger or smaller.

To adjust the zoom level:

1. Roll the Scroll button (mouse wheel) on the mouse or hold down the Ctrl key and press the Plus (+) or Minus (-) key on the keyboard.

 

You can pan or move the drawing around on the design surface.  You can pan by holding down the Scroll button while moving the mouse or by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing an Arrow key.  Panning does not change the location of the entities on the paper or the magnification of the entities on the design, it simply changes the location of the paper within the design surface area.

To pan the design on the screen:

1. Press and hold down the Scroll button (mouse wheel) on the mouse and move the mouse to move the sheet of paper, or hold down the Ctrl key and press an Arrow key.
