The Subscription command will allow you to create or renew an account and activation for use on a single computer system.

To renew an account and create a new activation key for a computer without Internet access:

  1. If the computer is not connected to the Internet, write down the Machine ID number EXACTLY as it appears in the PCS Subscription dialog box.


    Write down the Machine ID that appears on your computer.

  2. Locate a computer with Internet access and log onto the Software Republic web site at http://www.softwarerepublic.com/pcs/account.aspx.

  3. If necessary, make any changes to the account information and click on the Update Account Information button.  You cannot change the email address / User ID entered when creating the account.

  4. Click on the Purchase Subscription link to the left of a Machine ID number on your Account Management page.

  5. Select the subscription period from the Number of Days drop down menu.

  6. Enter the required credit card information including the name as it appears on the card, the credit card number, the expiration date and the billing zip or postal code.

  7. Click on the Purchase Subscription Days button to complete the transaction and create a new Activation Key.

  8. Copy and paste the Activation Key as a text (*.txt) file onto a flash drive or some other device, or write down the Activation Key EXACTLY as it appears.

  9. Return to the computer where the software is installed.  Open the text file and copy and paste the Activation Key, or type the key into the Activate Purchased Subscription text box in the PCS Subscription dialog box.  The key must be entered EXACTLY as it appeared on the web page.

  10. Click on the Activate button to unlock the software for the selected period of time.

  11. A message box will appear indicating the program has been successfully activated.

  12. Click on the Close button to exit the dialog box.

Note:

  • If you need the software on another computer, you must purchase another subscription using the Machine ID number for the new computer.  Multiple license discounts are available.

  • You cannot change the email address / User ID entered when creating the account.
