The Properties command will allow you to determine the properties of a selected symbol and in some cases, make changes to the property settings.  For example, you can change a selected piece of equipment such as a sprinkler from one manufacturer and type to another.

The properties differ from one object to another.  Most entities display basic properties such as the X and Y locations on the drawing screen.  Other more specialty properties exist such as the Override Label Point that will allow you to manually move pipe sizing labels on the screen.

To view the properties of a selected symbol:

1. Select a symbol or entity on the design screen.

2. On the View menu, click Properties or click on the icon in the toolbar.

3. The Properties dialog box will display the properties of the selected symbol or entity.

4. Make any changes to the properties as necessary.

5. Click on the icon in the top right corner of the box to exit the command.

Note:

• The command does not return properties on every available symbol.

• The length of selected drip tubing and the flow of the tubing will be displayed in the Properties dialog box.
