  3. Additional information:

Type The Type displays whether the image was inserted as a Background Image located on the Background Image layer in the Layer Manager, or as a Floating image inserted on the current drawing layer at the time of insertion.
Embedded If the image was embedded into the Pro Contractor Studio drawing file, a checkmark will appear in the box.  If the image was inserted as a reference image, the box will be unchecked.
File Location The File Location will display the path of the image file when originally inserted onto the drawing screen.
Source Dimensions The Source Dimensions displays the size of the image file in pixels.  It is recommended that images have no single dimension great than 6,000 pixels.

To change the resolution of the source image:

Lower either the Width or the Height of the Source Dimensions.  Whichever dimension is lowered, the other dimension will change accordingly to avoid distortion and maintain the width-to-height ratio of the image.  Notice that the Megapixels (MP) and Output DPI automatically change accordingly.

  3. You can also change the source resolution by moving the Slider Bar .

  4. Click on the Apply button to accept the changes.  The image will remain the same size on the drawing screen, but will now have a lower resolution.

  5. Click on the Close button to exit the command.

Note:

  • You cannot increase the resolution of an image using the Change Source Image Resolution command.
