The Grid is a rectangular pattern of lines that extend over the area of the imaginary sheet of paper created during the initial Drawing Page Setup. The grid helps align objects and visualize the distances between them. The major grid lines are 10 units apart from one another while the minor grid lines are 1 unit apart. The grid will not print or plot.
To show or hide the grid pattern:

Click on the menu selection or the toolbar icon to turn the grid pattern on or off.
Note:

You cannot extend the grid pattern past the limits of the paper setup.

The grid will not print or plot.

The grid may not appear on large sheet sizes set to small output scales.
