Fill Templates

Once the fill settings are entered, you may want to save the settings for future use.  This will prevent having to remember settings when trying to recreate a specific look.  You can use the settings to fill selected entities.  You can delete settings from the list.

To add settings to the template list:

1. Once the fill settings are entered, click on the Add to Templates button to include the settings in the template list.

2. Enter a name for the settings in the Name text box.  The type of fill will be displayed in the Type column.

 

To assign a template fill to the selected entity:

1. Select an entity on the design screen.

2. In the Fill dialog box, click on the Templates icon.

3. Click on the desired fill pattern in the list.

4. Click on the Apply Fill to Selection button to complete the command.

 

To remove fill settings from the list:

1. In the Fill dialog box, click on the Templates icon.

2. Click on fill settings to delete.

3. Click on the Delete Template button.

4. Answer Yes to the resulting prompt to delete the information from the database, or No to exit without deleting the information.

     Note:

• You cannot undo a deletion. Once an item is deleted, the data will be lost and you will have re-enter the data into the database to restore the information.
