The Equipment Costs command allows you to assign pricing information to each piece of equipment or material on the design screen. You can assign a list price, discount rate, labor rate, part number, a symbol label and a tied assembly to virtually every piece of equipment. This information is used to help price an installation when calculating an Estimate.
To assign pricing information to equipment:

Click on the Equipment Type drop down menu and select a type of equipment from the list by clicking on the selection one time with the left mouse button.

Click on the Manufacturer drop down menu and select the manufacturer of your choice.

If Sprinklers is selected as the equipment type, click on the Category drop down menu and select the category of sprinkler nozzles necessary for the design. The eight different category selections are Turf Sprays, Shrub Sprays, Shrub Risers, Turf Rotors, Shrub Rotors, Bubblers, Low-Volume and Golf.

Enter the Symbol Label, , , and as required by clicking into the associated box and typing in a value.

Press the Tab key, an arrow key or the Enter key to move from one box location to another.

If available, click on the Tied Assembly drop down menu and select an assembly to associate with the chosen piece of equipment or material.

Click on the Close button to exit the command.
Note:
-
You cannot assign a tied assembly to irrigation sprinkler nozzles, pipe or drip tubing. Tied assemblies for sprinkler nozzles must be assigned to the nozzle body.

You cannot change the Description of a piece of equipment. The description is set in the original database provided by the developer.

You cannot assign a Symbol Label to a nozzle body. Assign a label to each individual nozzle in the Sprinklers category.

You can download new product updates from the Update Database command.
