Menu:

File Drawing Backup Manager

The Drawing Backup Manager will allow you to view a list of saved drawings and the backup files for each.  You can also adjust the auto save settings, delete drawings, or open a drawing from within the command.

To adjust the auto save settings:

  1. Select the amount of time between automatic saves from the Auto save drawing every drop down menu.  During the first 12 hours of drawing time, the system will automatically create backup drawings based on the selected interval.  For example, if 1 hour is selected, there will be 12 backup drawings saved.  If 30 minutes is selected, 24 backup drawings will be saved.  After 12 hours have passed, the system will retain the most current backup drawing per hour.

  2. Select the amount of time to retain backup drawings related to the date of the most current drawing from the Keep drawing backups for drop down menu.

  3. Under the Backed Up Drawings title bar, click on a drawing name to display a list of each individual backup drawing.  Clicking on the Delete Selected button will delete all backup files listed under the Backup Files title bar.  This action cannot be undone.

  4. Under the Backup Files title bar, click on a drawing file name.  Click on the Open Selected Drawing button to open the drawing file in Pro Contractor Studio.  Click on the Delete Selected to delete the individual selected file.  This action cannot be undone.

  5. Click on the Refresh button to regenerate the list of file names.

  6. Click on the Close button to exit the dialog box.

Note:

  • All backup drawings are automatically saved in the \Drawing Backup sub folder where Pro Contractor Studio is installed on the computer.
