The Cut command will allow you to remove the selected entities from the drawing screen and place them on the program clipboard.  You can then paste the objects to this or another drawing using the Paste command.

To cut the selected entities or objects from the design screen:

  1. Select one or more entities on the screen.

  2. Enact the Cut command from the Edit menu, toolbar icon or Shortcut keys.  The selected entities will be removed from the drawing screen.

Note:

  • The entities will not be available to paste into other Windows� programs.
