Auto Save |
The Auto Save will allow you
to automatically save the drawing after a specified amount of time. The
amount of time between each save is set in the Options
command on the General tab under the
Drawing Options header, or in
the Drawing Backup Manager. A
drawing must be initially saved using the Save
command before the auto save process will begin.
To adjust the auto save settings:
Select the amount of time between automatic saves
from the Auto save drawing every
drop down menu. During
the first 12 hours of drawing time, the system will automatically
create backup drawings based on the selected interval. For
example, if 1 hour is selected, there will be 12 backup drawings
saved. If 30 minutes is selected, 24 backup
drawings will be saved. After 12 hours have passed, the system
will retain the most current backup drawing per hour.
Select the amount of time to retain
backup drawings related to the date of the most current drawing from
the Keep drawing backups for
drop down menu.
Note:
If the mouse cursor does not move or no action is
taken on the design screen, the drawing timer will automatically stop.
Once the timer has stopped, the auto save will become inactive.
When action is taken on the drawing and the timer begins, the
auto save will resume.
All backup drawings
are automatically saved in the \Drawing
Backup sub folder where Pro
Contractor Studio is installed on the computer.
