Image and Notes

The Image and Notes tab will allow you to assign an image to the selected plant material and enter general notes or installation specifications.  The image and notes will appear on the Plant Care report generated from the Material/Estimate command.

To assign an image and enter general notes:

1. Select the filtering method from the Filter Type drop down menu.

2. Click on the Category drop down menu and select a category to view the available plant selections. You can add, delete or rename the plant category names.

3. Click one time with the left mouse button on a plant selection. You can add, delete or rename the plants. You can also copy and paste plant information.  The plant selections will be sorted alphabetically based on the common or botanical name as set in the Landscape Preferences dialog box.

4. You may assign an image to the selected plant material.  In the Plant Image area, click on the Open icon to locate the image file on your computer.  Acceptable formats are Windows Bitmap (*.bmp), JPEG Bitmap (*.jpg), Portable Graphics Network (*.png) and TIFF (*.tif) image files.

5. In the General Notes text box, modify the information as necessary.  The general notes for the plant may be unlimited in length.

6. Click on another plant name in the list or click on the OK button to save the changes.

Note:

• Plant species data to appear in the Plant Care report may be entered on the Species Data tab.

• Set the cost associated with each plant and the tied assembly assignment in the Equipment Costs command.

• Expand or contract sections as required.
