Area Calculations
	The Area Calculator will allow you to enter measurements to determine the total the square feet or square meters of an area. To make use of the calculator, you must first divide an area into sections. The following illustration depicts a flower bed divided into eight (8) different sections. In this example you will use all of the features of the calculator to total the square feet of each area.
	Begin by calculating the circular area of section #1:
	Click on the Calculate Area button. Under the Add New Area header, click on the radio button to the left of the Circular selection. Enter a value of 4 in the Radius text box. Since this area is a quarter of a circle, select Qtr from the Angle drop down menu. Click on the Add New Area button. The area of 12.57 sq/ft will appear above under the Added Areas header.
	Continue by calculating the area of a rectangle:
	Click on the Calculate Area button. Under the Add New Area header, add the area of #2 by clicking on the radio button to the left of the Rectangular selection. Enter a value of 4 in the Width text box. Enter a value of 25.5 in the Length text box. Click on the Add New Area button. The area of 102 sq/ft will appear above under the Added Areas header.
	Now add the area of a triangular shape:
	Click on the Calculate Area button. Under the Add New Area header, add the area of #3 by clicking on the radio button to the left of the Triangular selection. Enter a value of 4 in the Width text box. Enter a value of 4 in the Length text box. Click on the Add New Area button. The area of 8 sq/ft will appear above under the Added Areas header.
	You should now have a total of 122.57 square feet. Continue by adding areas #4 and #6 as rectangles and areas #5, #7 and #8 as triangles. Once all areas are entered you should have a total flower bed area of 294.57 square feet. At any time during the process you can click on the Clear Areas button under the Added Areas header to remove all entries from the list.
